Tribrach with Optical Plummet AJ13(B5)
Tribrachs accept EDM systems, total station, electronic and optical theodolites, as well as equipment and accessories.
High-quality tribrach features an optical plummet and 3X magnification and a twist focus. Its reticule is composed of two small concentric circles. With a sighting distance of 0.3 m to 15 m, accuracy of 0.5 mm per 1.5 m. A locking forced-centering knob, a 5/8 x 11 base and an 8-minute circular vial. Color: apple green and red.

PURPOSE OF THE TRIBRACH
The tribrach enables surveying equipment to be levelled and centred over a benchmark. To achieve accurate measurements, the tribrach must ensure a firm connection between the tripod head and mounted instrument.
The stability of the tripod and tribrach is the primary influence on the reliability of measurements. The critical factor for accuracy is the provision of a stable platform for the instrument; if the base is unstable the measurements will be unreliable.
